Mini Production Line Simulation
The Conveyor Belt Kit for Dobot Magician is a complete production line simulation. Who knew this simulation could engage students in the classroom with real world applications for tomorrow? The Conveyor Belt Kit has adjustable speeds, a distance sensor, and a color sensor. Combined with the powerful and programmable Dobot Magician these ideal essentials help students create a highly effective simulated production line that can apply to actual factory scenes and beyond!
Why a mini production line?? The Conveyor Belt simulation combined with Dobot Technology challenges the student in Middle and High School years while meeting Engineering Design and Computer Science Standards. When the Next Generation Science Standards are met it prepares students for college, career, and citizenship by creating these real world applications that solve real world problems.
While using this new dimension of Dobot no prerequisites are required. The Conveyor Belt simulation demonstrates a Pathway to Success allowing every student the opportunity to keep pace with the world around them! Unless our young people are given every chance to learn to think creatively, reason systematically and work collaboratively, their employment hopes for the coming years are less hopeful. Students take steps in the right direction
while learning these principles of coding with the help of tools like the Conveyor Belt and Dobot. Researchers have found that STEM employment is expected to grow faster than overall employment in the next 10 years; even comprising 20% of all US jobs. What an opportunity it provides students; and it is fun too, at least we think so!
Please see our National Science Teacher Association Convention Pictures, from March 2017! Here we showcased our NEW Conveyor Belt Kit!! Now available for purchase!
